Lightweight components with heavyweight
features, the JFCSuite v3 extends the standard Java Foundation Classes (JFC) to provide a
series of feature-rich UI JavaBeans components.
All components in the JFCSuite support
the Java Look and Feel (JLF) and are written using 100% Pure Java. The JFCSuite
comes with JDK 1.1 and Java™ 2 (JDK 1.2 & J2EE) compatible components. Source Code for this
product is also available.
The JFCSuite includes: |

Advanced N-Tier Data Models
Connect JFCSuite components to any data source with minimal coding.
ProtoView data models feature an n-tier architecture that seamlessly connect streaming
data over sockets to front-end applications. Data models include: XML, JDBC,
URL, file, sockets & IDE specific models. Click here to read more
about the ProtoView data models.

JFCDataCalendar
The JFCDataCalendar is a calendar JavaBeans component designed with a stunning
selection of borders and UI effects. Place the calendar by itself on a panel, or use it as
a drop-down from our DatePlus input component. Advanced features include images in days,
multi selection of date ranges and an easy to use API and event handlers.

JFCDataCalendar.
JFCDataExplorer
Winner of the JDJ Editor's Choice and Java Pro Reader's Choice awards. The
JFCDataExplorer creates a treeview that allows users to drill-down on data structures and
display corresponding tables in the right-hand pane. In addition to a grid, this flexible
component "opens" the right-hand pane to allow placement for any Java Panel or
Component making it the perfect UI for organizing and streamlining application data. With
limited screen real estate, developers can create data hierarchies with corresponding
grids, charts, calendars and panels on a node-by-node basis. The JFCDataExplorer adheres
to the Java Object & Component Model making it a natural extension of
JFC. In addition
to supporting the JTable Data Model, JFCDataExplorer can also use a custom Data Model that
was designed specifically for this component and incorporates a treeview into its
structure.

JFCDataInput
JFCDataInput completes the standard JFC package with a number of essential data input
components. This package includes currency, date, date long, mask, numeric and time
components as well as image, round and spin buttons.

JFCDataInput.
JFCDataTable
The JFCDataTable extends JTable to add printing, sorting, keyboard handling and
advanced in cell editing and formatting. Developers with current applications can quickly
inherit from this component, maintain their original codebase while taking advantage of
the wealth of features added by ProtoView. With full support for the entire feature set
found in the standard JTable, the JFCDataTable is the only true drop-in replacement on the
market.
Click here for more information on the JFCDataTable.
JFCDataTree
The JFCDataTree includes drag & drop, up to 6 images per node, advanced keyboard
handling, customization of fonts, colors, borders as well as support for the standard
JLF.
A drop-in replacement to the JTree, developers with current JTree code can quickly inherit
from this component and take advantage of a wealth of new features.

JFCDataTree.

"...[JFCDataExplorer] is one of those rare components that
is
attractive from a user interface and a component
model/language point of view. If you want a
